The Cost Segregation Authority (CSA) leads the way in helping commercial property owners tap into a powerful but often overlooked tax deduction. Through detailed cost segregation studies, they help clients reduce federal income taxes by reclassifying building components for faster depreciation. With over 50,000 studies completed in all 50 states—and a client base ranging from vacation rentals to warehouses—CSA partners closely with tax professionals to turn complex property assessments into tangible financial benefits.
As they grew, CSA aimed to simplify and modernize their auditing process. They envisioned a solution that would streamline data collection, empower Real Estate Analysts, and ultimately help property owners realize even greater savings with less hassle.

Cross-Platform Development: Using Flutter, we delivered a single, consistent experience on both mobile and desktop devices. Analysts could work wherever they were, with no extra steps.
Robust and Secure Backend: With a .NET API, MS SQL Server, and Azure for hosting and storage, data flowed smoothly and securely.
Seamless Integrations: By connecting directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and leveraging Microsoft Entra ID, we ensured data remained in sync and accessible, removing roadblocks that once stood between the analysts and their insights.
Intuitive Mapping Tools: The app gave analysts the power to pan, zoom, and switch between topographical and satellite views—even pulling from Google Maps, Flutter Maps, or Open Street Maps. Drawing polygons and polylines, adding layers, and stamping features turned once labor-intensive tasks into simple, repeatable steps.
Offline Capability: Analysts could gather data directly on-site—even without a stable internet connection—and sync it all later, reducing downtime and ensuring accuracy in challenging conditions.
This modernized solution equipped CSA’s analysts to work more efficiently and deliver results faster.
